Why do I need a program like this?
Our research reveals that more than 90% of church members when asked say they do not feel their local church has equipped them to live out their faith in their workplaces. Also, a Wall Street Journal survey says 80% of the general workforce is dissatisfied with their work lives resulting in a lack of purpose for their lives. They say the teaching is not relevant to their daily work lives where they spend 60 – 70% of their time.Faith and Work E3 helps equip believers in a relevant way by speaking to the issues they face every day. Churches will find their members appreciate having a resource geared specifically to their needs. Workplace ministries and businesses can use the Faith and Work E3 as an outreach or equipping service to their constituents.
What is the primary benefit to the local church or sponsoring organization?
- Workplace believes will feel affirmed and equipped to live out their faith 24/7.
- It will cut down on the “neediness” of members as this program will help meet needs among your people.
- Increased loyalty and involvement will result because members will feel affirmed and appreciated.
- Exposing your people to the best writers, faith and work leaders, and published resources in faith and work movement will raise up leaders within your sphere of influence for greater ministry.
What does it mean to co-brand or private label a web site?
Co-branding or “private labeling” means that we attach your logo or brand image to an existing product or service that saves you from having to develop that product or service from scratch. The Faith and Work E3 program allows organizations to use the same program but personalize it for their individual audiences thereby saving thousands in developmental and maintenance costs that would otherwise be required.

Can I add articles to this Articles site? Articles can only be added by Marketplace Leaders Ministries. This is because all those utilizing the E3 program access the same Articles database and we need to monitor the content that is added to the E3 site. There are two options for managing the posting of your own material: 1. You can provide links on the right side of the Articles website panel that will navigate readers to your organization’s main website where you may host the item. 2. If there is an article you think might be helpful to have in the E3 Articles site, you are free to submit the item for our review. Submissions may be sent to e3@marketplaceleaders.org.
Can I add links to my site?Yes, the right side of the navigation area allows you to add links. You do this by going to your back office area in your affiliate website and add links there.
Faith and Work Resources web site
How can I encourage people to visit our resource web site?There are several ways to drive traffic to your store:
- The banner link to the right of the article website will direct people to your store.
- If you place a link on your TGIF devotional, readers can link to the store.
- If place an ad for a product from the store in your TGIF devotional, they will link to your store to purchase. (You must make sure you capture the link directly from your store site).
- You can place the FaithandWorkResources.com banner ad on your organization’s website. You get the banner ad by visiting the back office of your affiliate site and copying the code for the banner you want to use and pasting it into your website.
What is the commission on sales? All products by Os Hillman are paid a 15% commission. Other products receive 10-15% depending upon the original cost of the product.
How do you track sales so I get commissions credited to me?Sales are tracked by an affiliate ID number that is coded into your website. Whenever a sale is made you are credited for that sale. It shows up on the sales history in your back office. You can view total sales, persons who visited your site and what was bought any time you wish. You can also see sales commissions due you.
How often are commissions paid?Quarterly by check each time your store has reached $50 or more in sales (in US dollars).
Can I track sales?Yes, in the back office sales figures and traffic info to your site is listed.
Can I see who has purchased on our site? Yes, you can see the names, addresses, and items purchased by your customers. How do people get to our Faith and Work Resources website from the Article site?Visitors can link to the banner ad that appears on the right navigation area and we will also encourage readers to visit the Faith and Work Resources.com site at the conclusion of the articles to learn more or to see if the author has a book on that topic in our store.
Faith and Work Co-branded TGIF Daily Email Devotional
Why is the TGIF devotional an important part of the equipping process?
The TGIF devotional serves several purposes in the E3 program.
- The TGIF devotional is an equipping tool to encourage believers to live out their faith at work.
- It brings your ministry name before them every day.
- It allows you to share vital information on events and other resources through links on TGIF that are specific to your ministry.
- It allows your ministry to build its own list of subscribers, thereby becoming a new member strategy for your ministry and provides a personalized subscriber page for your subscription program.
- It can even be used to provide links to your online donation page.
- It is only part of the program that is proactive.
How do others subscribe to my TGIF branded version?
We provide your organization with a website link that directs people to subscribe to your custom TGIF subscription.
How has this worked for other ministries?A ministry in Florida began using the TGIF co-branded version. A few months later the ministry received so many emails from their donors thanking the ministry for providing the TGIF Daily Devotion by Os Hillman, that the ministry invited Os Hillman to speak at their donor banquet. This resulted in the largest attendance ever and they raised the most money they had ever raised. The ministry changed their focus from “what the donor could do for them” to affirming their donor’s call to the workplace by encouraging them with TGIF. Their donors were so grateful to the ministry for providing a resource that served them where they spend 60-70% of their time.
Can people offer the co-branded TGIF to their friends?Yes, they can simply forward the devotional and invite their friend to click on the “Subscribe” link to sign up. In order to avoid anti-spam and privacy infringement, we do not recommend that anyone create a subscription for someone without the email address owners permission.
Why do you believe TGIF can be a tool to generate new members?Your TGIF subscriber members will use TGIF to encourage others. Those people often subscribe and become part of your list, thereby resulting in a great new member strategy.
Who owns the names of the subscribers to our TGIF?You do. Marketplace Leaders will not mail to or use your names in any way without your permission.
Can subscribers choose how often they want to receive TGIF?Yes, when they sign up they can select the number of days per week they want to receive the devotional.
Can someone unsubscribe at any time?Yes. All they have to do is select the unsubscribe or edit subscription link.
Can I change the content in the TGIF daily email template if I wanted to? You may modify the content in the left sidebar as often as you would like based on your needs or the activity of your organization. The devotional content and certain graphics and links cannot be removed or modified, as these are automated by the system. Do you provide technical support for customizing our E3 site? We will set up and help launch your E3 sites and will also provide an initial overview of the functionality of your 3 sites (TGIF Devotional page, Articles site, and the Affiliate Resource site). The sites have a great deal of flexibility and can be quite dynamic. If you plan to maximize the custom functionality, you will need someone on your team or staff that has IT or website admin. experience that can manage the desired look and deliverability of your E3 sites. The fee structure for the E3 program covers the creation of your 3 sites, the technology (server space and delivery) of the program, and initial traning on the use of your sites. However, if you need substantial technical support following the initial training, there will be a technical support fee. We offer per hour phone support and we can offer a support package if needed. Can we create other email newsletters as part of this email system?Yes, one of the greater features of the Faith and Work E3 program is you can also develop other email newsletters using templates we provide for you. You can maintain any number of email lists by separate names such as an monthly information newsletter, a training newsletter, or a “member only” program newsletter. Depending on the complexity of your needs, there may be a setup charge for the new template.
